IntroductionBrody Whiteside (Co-President) — Hey keyps! Here are 3 cool online point opportunities for the remainder of the summer! There are a fair amount of points available here, so please take advantage. 1. FreeRice (join our group: X24HYTQS)*1,500 grains per point at a max of 3 points which will be checked through the new Key group. As you know we have usually had a FreeRice opportunity, but now we have an official group on the website! You will need to make an account to access the group, and then in the left drop down men under "Groups" enter the code X24HYTQS in order to access the group. I also recommend trying out their categories as we go back to into the school year, as it could be a good way to refresh some knowledge! 2. Zooniverse (help aid real-life research)*Will depend on what project you choose, but 1 hour of classification will equate to 1 point at a max of 4 points. **Fill out this form to get points: https://forms.gle/SPqs6aMW3kTRvh8k9 Zooniverse (at zooniverse.org) is a website where you (you!) can help researchers with their projects. You will be doing pretty basic classifications, such as identifying animals or placing measurements on wavelength, that will aid in actual research papers. You can also read up on the actual project that you're aiding with, so find something that interests you! You will need to make an account with this and help make an impact! 3. Charity Miles (getting sponsored while being active)*3 miles equate to 1 point; max of 3 points. **Fill out this form to get points: https://forms.gle/exdVoenhFkhmvQws9 I'm not going to lie this one is still in beta, but it seems fun! Just for choosing a nonprofit and getting active, you can earn money through sponsorships for that nonprofit!
